Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local attacker could trigger a null pointer dereference in the is_vm_area_hugepages() function. This occurs when find_vm_area() returns a NULL value, which is not properly handled before being dereferenced. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a kernel crash, resulting in a denial of service.
