Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's f2fs filesystem. The find_in_level function, responsible for managing file system entries, fails to release a memory reference (dentry folio) when an internal error occurs during a call to find_in_block(). This oversight leads to a memory leak, which can be exploited by a local attacker to cause resource exhaustion and potentially a Denial of Service (DoS) condition, making the system unresponsive.
