Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges in a user namespace can configure a network device with an excessively large Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU). This leads to a signed integer overflow when the kernel's sfq_init() function calculates a quantum value. This overflow causes an infinite loop in the sfq_dequeue() function, resulting in a soft lockup and a Denial of Service (DoS) for the system.
