Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Real-Time Clock (RTC) pcf8563 driver. The pcf8563_clkout_register_clk() function registers a clock provider without properly unregistering it when the device is unbound or the module is reloaded. This oversight causes a continuous leak of memory and object references. Repeated exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to resource exhaustion, potentially resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the system.
