Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) Connection Manager Assistant (CMA) component. During asynchronous address resolution, a programming error could lead to a warning assertion in the res_to_rt() function. This occurs when a device acquisition fails, but the resource is still added to the tracking mechanism with a null device pointer. This issue could potentially lead to system instability or a denial of service (DoS).
