Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's dw-edma component. A race condition exists where the dw_edma_abort_interrupt() function prematurely releases a lock, allowing the issue_pending() function to access outdated Direct Memory Access (DMA) channel status information. This can lead to new DMA descriptors being stranded, potentially causing a denial of service by preventing further DMA operations.
