Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's mac80211_hwsim component. A race condition exists in the mac80211_hwsim_stop() function. This condition occurs when a network packet (skb) is removed from a queue after it has been checked for emptiness but before it is actually dequeued. This can lead to a null pointer being passed to ieee80211_free_txskb(), potentially causing a system crash and a denial of service (DoS).
