Description

A flaw was found in the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) System on Chip (ASoC) Freescale Audio Mixer (fsl_audmix) driver in the Linux kernel. During the driver's initialization (probe phase), the audio mixer hardware is powered off after runtime power management is enabled. Subsequent attempts to write to registers before the hardware is fully resumed can target unpowered components, leading to a system hang. This vulnerability could allow a local attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
