Description
A flaw was found in the drm/rockchip: dw_dp component of the Linux kernel. This vulnerability occurs because core resources, such as the DisplayPort AUX channel, are initialized but never properly released when the dw_dp_bind() function is called. This oversight can lead to memory leaks and a use-after-free condition, where the system attempts to access memory that has already been freed. A local attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to cause system instability or a denial of service.
