Description

A flaw was found in the B.A.T.M.A.N. Advanced (Better Approach To Mobile Ad-hoc Networking) module of the Linux kernel. This vulnerability occurs when the system attempts to add new claims and modify existing claim backbones in parallel. Under specific timing conditions, this parallel processing can lead to a corruption of the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) values associated with network claims. This incorrect CRC is not recomputed, potentially leading to data integrity issues and instability within the mesh network.
