Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Mstar MSC313e watchdog driver. The driver fails to properly set platform device data during device initialization. Consequently, when system power management routines attempt to access this data during suspend or resume operations, a NULL pointer dereference occurs, resulting in a kernel crash and Denial of Service (DoS).
