Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ADE9000 driver. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service (DoS) and system crash when probing an ADE9000 device configured as a clock provider with an external input clock. During clock output registration, the driver supplies an invalid null memory address, triggering a NULL pointer dereference when the kernel attempts to calculate clock rates.
