Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) subsystem. This vulnerability allows a local user or guest virtual machine to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing the host kernel. The issue stems from a race condition between memory slot creation and stage-2 page fault handling, leading the memory management unit to improperly walk invalid shadow page tables and trigger a NULL pointer dereference.
