Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Btrfs file system. When handling asynchronous input/output (I/O) requests through the io_uring subsystem, allocated memory is not properly released if an operation encounters a retry condition and is canceled before completion. A local user could exploit this flaw to cause a persistent kernel memory leak, potentially leading to system resource exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS).
