Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Realtek USB MemoryStick (rtsx_usb_ms) driver. This vulnerability can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) due to a race condition when a device is disconnected while handling active requests. Because the driver drops an in-flight request without signaling completion, kernel removal processes wait indefinitely. A local or physically present attacker could exploit this by ejecting the device during data operations, resulting in an unresponsive system.
