Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) subsystem. Improper validation of error codes generated during nested virtualization memory faults leads to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. An attacker within a guest virtual machine can exploit this issue by triggering specific page faults, potentially causing the host system to crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
