Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's mac802154 wireless networking subsystem. This flaw allows an attacker within radio range to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing the system. Due to missing synchronization between device association routines and response processing, a race condition can occur during connection cleanup. An attacker sending crafted association responses can trigger a null pointer dereference, causing the kernel to crash.
