Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) subsystem. A local user can exploit this vulnerability to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or memory corruption. This issue arises during lock contention when the execution handler (drm_exec) retains a pre-locked object that is about to be destroyed without reserving necessary synchronization fence resources. When a graphics driver subsequently attempts to process the locked objects, a kernel assertion is triggered, leading to a system crash.
