Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's stmmac Ethernet driver. Network link changes prior to a system resume can leave hardware status interrupts uncleared. When the system resumes from sleep, these pending interrupts trigger an interrupt storm that overwhelms the processor, resulting in a system freeze and Denial of Service (DoS).
