Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netlink subsystem. This vulnerability allows an unprivileged local attacker to read uninitialized kernel memory, resulting in information disclosure. The issue occurs because socket buffer headers are not properly reset before applying socket filters during unicast and multicast message delivery, enabling a filter to inspect data from the buffer's reserved headroom.
